Christian character grows as we choose to do the right thing. The great news is that anyone can develop Christian character, even if they are not on that path currently or have strayed from it.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6, NIV).
But God’s perfect timing isn’t limited to your future in heaven. His sovereign ability to act at just the right moment in your life today demonstrates His incredible love for you. Sometimes we recognize God’s miraculous intervention, but so often it goes unnoticed until we look back and see what God has done.
