Grow in grace“But grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…” 2 Peter 3:18a

Many Christians believe that because we are saved by faith in Jesus Christ, there is nothing else for us to do.   This scripture plainly says we should be striving for growth.  So, are you growing?

Do you know your Savior and His Word (the Bible) better today than a year ago?  Undoubtedly, life’s challenges teach us to trust God more, but there are proactive things we can do to enhance our relationship with God.

Regularly reading God’s Word for understanding and help will vault you forward in your faith.  Before you examine God’s Word, pray and ask God to teach you.

Praying to God about specific needs will also help you to grow in your knowledge of God and in your own faith.  When the prayer is specific, the answer is undeniable.  You can begin by praying the scripture above and ask God to help you to grow.
